Dermal Filler

Suitable For:
Dermal fillers are a popular and effective treatment for volume replacement in the face. As we age, our skin naturally loses collagen and elasticity, resulting in a loss of facial volume and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Dermal fillers offer a non-surgical solution to restore volume, smooth out wrinkles, and rejuvenate the face.
During the treatment, a gel-like substance, composed of hyaluronic acid, is injected into specific areas of the face where volume has been lost. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains moisture, providing hydration and plumpness to the skin. By strategically injecting dermal fillers, our experienced professionals can restore youthful contours, improve facial symmetry, and soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
The procedure is typically quick and requires minimal downtime. The results are immediate, although there may be some initial swelling or redness and bruising that subsides within a few days. The longevity of dermal filler results varies depending on the type of filler used, the area treated, and individual factors. On average, results can last from several months to over a year.
At Caroline Harris Appearance Medicine, our skilled practitioners take a personalised approach to dermal filler treatments. We carefully assess your facial anatomy and discuss your aesthetic goals to create a tailored treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. Our aim is to achieve natural-looking results that enhance your features, restore volume, and promote a more youthful appearance.
